Started out planning to do ainslie majura but was in super plod mode from the start so focussed on just doing 45min or so. Convinced myself to go up ainslie and felt a bit better by the time i got to the top so came down via the quarry and a tiny track that petered out in some thick scrub. by that stage i was feelinng ok so decided to come home via mt pleasant. From there i decided i might as well come home via the wetlands and kingston since i didnt seem much longer and it was a bit different plus it reminded me of the burke and wills run jase and i once did. Strugletown from that moment on since it was a fair bit longer but a good training for 6.F.T. Made me realise that it really is going to be quite hard when i struggled this much just to do 2hrs.
Eventually dragged myself out for a run at 8.30 in the evening, it was still over 30. Went up blackie to the circumcision track, round to the north and then back down in the dark. Tried to surge a bit for 25min or so.
