Orienteering 45:00 [3]

stromlo running festival race,mass start. felt better than normal at start, probably cos i warmed up, ran the first loop well holding off robbie and ollie, got a bit of a break going into the 2nd loop and came to the start of the last loop just behind shep, just managed to hang onto him through this last loop hoping to strike on the sprint, bit of a contentious 3rd last control which shep and i interpreted different ways meant i got a bit closer to him than i would have been, punched the last control just behind him and then hung with him until i got him in the last 100m. Had a few dry retches which showed how hard i had worked. Great fun race and top use of the area. Even did a warm down.

lunchtime run on gossan hill, few token surges and surprisingly felt better after doing them.

Ran from work to the jones'house in evatt. busy day after our fridge carked it last night and i was exhausted, 30min felt like an eternity.

Ran to work in the rain - great fun esp once it really started pissing down and i was running past all the cars at standstill. felt great by the time i got to work.
