Orienteering 1:15:00 [3]

Orienteering at Picaree Hill. Took the last chance to tune up for the aus champs and grant turned up to make it into a real race. i started late so new i had to beat 74 and pushed pretty hard to try and get him. no big mistakes just a few hesitations. Pumped to do 69.54, now its on for the real races next week.

Went out round little black mtn, 6 x 3min with 1min easy, didnt feel as good as thursday but could have been cos i forgot to take my hayfever nose spray and puffer.

Regular fri morning run - we were all a bit late and Tom W was early so he missed us on his debut. The banjalong st magpie still got him though as well as jase who came along about 10min later. Just before i got to work I came within centimetres of running into a light pole while trying to evade a plover that was swooping me.

Ran home from work with a couple of surges up aranda hill from belco way (7min) and then up mt painter from the bottom of aranda hill (8min). Felt much better than i have been in the mornings lately.

Ran with max into childcare and then through black mtn to work. It was amazing how easy it was to run in the second half without the pram and felt like i went a bit harder for the second half as a result.
