Running 3:07:00 [3] 28.0 km (6:41 / km) +1128m 5:34 / km

Long run with Jase and Grant M starting at the cracker from Conder shops. Up over tuggeranong hill for a great view as the sun was just up, esp back out towards the brindies which were glowing with the early sun. Then on a bit of a round about way to the top of rob roy via callaghan hill. Awesome views along the way down into the monaro valley which was full of fog. Kept heading south and GM left us while we did an extra loop before a cruisier path back including to the top of "the monk" for some more views and a few fotes. Came good towards the end and felt good but was in trouble for the last 5min when could sniff the shops.

Got a burger plus potato scallops (ordered 3 and got 4 which is tradition) and worlds worst short black at the conder takeaway. Expect my inside will be lined with cooking oil for the next two months as a result. Should have gone to maccas. Still was a nice spot to sit in sun and people watch the procession of ugh boots into the mall.

ParkRun debut 17.39

Freezing weather but started at a good pace, 3.23 which is the km rate i have done for the last few 7k laps of the lake i have done. Unfortunately started to struggle pretty quickly and the 4th km was 3.39 which was pretty ordinary. Glute was super tight which makes my leg feel a bit numb and affects my stride, hopefully this is affecting how fast i can run and is easily fixed with the stretches that fixed it last time.

There and back with Jase, including passing some ice blocks from a maccas cup which still hadnt melted even on the way back, it was -4 at the start of the run.

Lunchtime intervals, 3 x 6min which wasnt what i planned to do but felt so crap at the start i couldnt run any faster. Pretty hilly but barely got below 4min/k on one and was no where near on the one up aranda hill.

Orienteering 1:05:00 [3]

Ran to midweek orienteering at aranda hill and did the course in my lunchtime. Pretty cold and windy but a good fun course that was an easy way to do a bit of faster running.
