Down in sorrento for 5 days or so for Al to do 2 bays and a bit of a holiday. Did a long run along the coastal track out as far as rye beach were I spent 15min bumbling round the dunes unsuccessfully trying to find the track at the other end of the beach. Headed back along the track which is a great mix of rocky and sandy singltrack winding through the dunes. When I got back to sorrento still felt good so carried on down to portsea inc a stretch on v soft sand which finished me so took the road back to the house. Another good test of the backpack.

Evening long run inc twice up black mtn, and then aranda hill and mt painter. Felt ordinary early on but much better later in the run. Tested out the new salomon backpack which was pretty awesome, devil was right in saying the fit easily counters the extra weight compared to the inov8 pack.

Short jog trying to get back into it. Felt better towards the end which is a good sign hopefully.
