Running 2:06:36 [3] 30.0 km (4:13 / km)
Centenary100k ran the 30k second leg for @runcanberra with, Matty Fenech, Marty and Philo. I was feeling pretty sore even before the start after a day of laying flooring on Friday but the excitement at the start got me going pretty well. Got into a good rhythm for the first part picking off the solo guys and trying to go fast on the flat and downhill but not burn too much energy on the hills. Struggled up both mt arawang and Stromlo. By far the toughest part was the last 7 or 8km up from copping to the arboretum. I was expecting some water at coppins and planned to have a gel there but didn't get either which left me a bit short of juice for the last part. Anyway it was a good fun day and the team ended up winning pretty convincingly. Glad I wasn't out their for 100km today though, given it was pretty warm, respect to some of the people finishing when we went down for the presentation who would have been out for 15hours and still looked happy. Classic Sri chinmoy vibe at the finish.
