Running 1:30:00 [3]

Up at perisher with Al and the kids, mainly for Al to do the ski o but I took the chance to do some secret snow shoe training before Johns race in two weeks.
Ran from the Nordic shelter up to porcupine rocks and then continued towards charlottes pass until it got a bit grassy. Came back around the back of the XC ski trails.
The weather was pretty ordinary in the morning but not bad by the arvo with no more snow just a bit of wind. The views from the top of the ridge South were awesome and it was fun running in the fresh piles of snow.
It was the first time I'd ever used snow shoes and it was a lot tougher than I expected, I was pretty stuffed after 90min and I'd only done 11k, with a bit of climbing around on the rocks and a few stops to decide where to go. Had a w big stacks coming downhill too but good fun way to get out and explore some cool places.

Arvo run w Hoggster around Stromlo and Narrabundah hill. Good run with a bit of exploring over 3 different trig points.

Run home w 20min tempo over aranda hill and then up to home.

Lunchtime run round Bruce ridge. Did 40 min tempo, beautiful and sunny. Felt pretty clunky trying to run fast, need to get a loosen up from the physio I think but felt good afterwards to have run a bit faster.
