Running 1:30:00 [3]

Down at green patch originally for a mtb race but that was postponed earlier in the week due to all the rain.
Started out for a run in the arvo w Andy and with the plan of doing something hard.
We ran out to the steamers beach carpark and started some tempo from there with Andy planning to turn around after 10 min. Was good starting together since it got us both going.
Once I was by myself I managed to keep pushing on what is a pretty hilly and sandy loop, kept running hard all the way back nearly to green patch with the aim of getting 15k done in the hour tempo, fell a few hundredetres short in the end.
Main downside of the run was that I hadn't changed socks and shoes since coming back from the beach and the sand in my socks really cut up my toes, I ended up with two very nasty blisters which put an end to running on Sunday since I didn't have proper stuff to fix them up.

Running 35:00 [3]

Crammed in a run at lunch in a very busy day. Went round the lake and did 15 x 60/30 although quite a few were more like 70/20 as I wasn't paying attention to the watch. Good to get something hard done, hasn't been much of a training week.

Late run home from work. Did 4x5min with 1 min easy. The first was interrupted by some typical construction work that completely blocked the bike/footpath with no alternative route. In my annoyance I climbed the fence and continued the interval straight through the construction as the only alternative would have been to wait and cross the busy road.

Arvo ride on bruce ridge. Not very smooth but got better.
