Running 3:22:00 [3]

Planned to go out to Tennant to do a long run w some big hills but when the alarm went off at 5 I couldn't face getting up to drive down to Tennant by myself.
After a bit more sleep I got up w the plan of running out to stromlo from home which I've never actually done. Set off at 7 and went up painter then through to dairy farmers via the cork oaks. I didn't take the straightest route down through green hills to coppins which added a bit of time and then in bluetts the usual fire trail was fenced off with high fences for the construction site of a massive bridge across the molonglo. I had no option but to jump the fence and then found a gap on the other end to get out onto the usual fire trail. From there followed around by the river before the long drag up to stromlo. By the time I got to the top of stromlo it was over two hours already and I certainly wasn't planning on doing 4hrs so planned the straightest route home.
Headed down stromlo on the downhill course got some more water and followed greenys stromlo course through the new development. From there I took the shortest route through the arboretum and up the bike path. A bit longer run than I would have normally done 2 weeks from B2H but good to get through it pretty solidly. The main concern is how sore my feet are on almost every run lately which I think is related to how tight my calves are as it is worse on hills. Hopefully I can fix this in the next few weeks. I also tested using only 2/3 of the amount of perpetuem which was fine so hopefully this will be easier on the stomach.

Running 35:00 [3]

Finally got out for a run for the first time in more than a week. Thought about doing a long run but it didn't fit in too well with other things and I realised running for 3hrs as my first run in more than a week might have been pushing my luck.
Did 10x 60/30 intervals anyway to get something out of the run.
Also got in 9 holes w Thomas and Andy today, started w a 9 but got better and got a par on the 6th.

Mountain Biking 1:45:00 [3]

Finally felt over the stomach bug that has been giving me grief for the past week. On the plus side it's kept the usual Christmas excesses in check and let me do some reading including pat farmers book on running from pole to pole which wasn't a great book but was interesting anyway.

Anyway got out for a spin on stromlo, pretty rusty, it's a lot trickier than grieve ridge plus had to stop and pump the tyre up twice as it was almost completely out of liquid. Good to be back out excercising though.
