Early morning long run into work via black mtn and Bruce ridge. Not going super fast but good to get a long run in as it's been a while since I've run for much more than an hour. Suffered a bit towards the end and feet sore again despite lots of stretching erc the night before.

Home from work, did 5,4,3,2,1 with 1 min easy around the back of macquarie and then to Nat and Andys to pick up Mira's lunchbox which was left there.

Evening run on black mtn, feeling a bit sore after yesterdays hard effort. had to stop and massage my calves a few times to try and stop the pain in the balls of my feet.

Cook street O. Just made it in time so now warm up apart from the ride from work. Marty was there too so knew it'd be tough.
I saw a good loop quickly and headed out and saw Marty at my second coming from an odd direction and it was clear I was a control ahead. From there on we basically ran the same route with me trying to claw back a few metres with some better angles. 7 was in the wrong place which let me catch up but also this was the spot were I skipped a control which probably endured we ran the same way.
Pushed hard from here trying to keep Marty in sight but eventually he dissapeared and I wasn't even sure he was still on the same route but came to the finish and he wasn't there although he appeared 30-40sec later after getting the extra control he missed at the start.
When I drew my route on at the finish I realised I'd missed 13 accidentally. It was hand drawn on and very hard to see. I'd actually run within 50m of it on the way to the finish so if if got that it would have been very close.
Short warm down jog after w Marty so not much slower than the street o :)
