Bit of a plod with Grant and Andy at a pretty pedestrian pace which was good for me as my knee was sore again. It started to get better after about 80min but by then my right foot was getting sore.

Very late morning run on the pinnacle, hot and humid but did 3x8min with1min easy for old times sake. More of a tempo pace but better than a jog. L hip itb very tight and L knee was pretty sore as a result and running a bit mechanically.

Morning run, bumped into rob J and ran with him before I warmed up enough to do some tempo. 5 x 5min around little black mtn. Felt hard and slow, L hip and itb were really tight which made running feel very mechanical.

Orienteering 30:00 [3]

Orienteering at anu again, bit tired but got into the orienteering ok and had a bit of urgency. Best result of all the days today, knowing the area helped a fair bit though.

Orienteering 30:00 [3]

Orienteering at ANU, started carefully and just getting into it when got a bit confused by the control circle blocking the building. Worked it out and recovered pretty quickly and got going ok again. Planned the rest of the course on the long leg which was ultimately my downfall as ran straight by 16 without even looking at he map to remember there was a control there to punch. Have done this a bit lately so will need to watch out for it. Otherwise was a good run and would have been my best place so far, some long legs on the second half helped as I'm not great at starting and stopping quickly, need time to wind up the speed ;)
