Two times up Mt Tennant on the fire trail. Dragged out by Jase together with Grant to run w the industry guys who are all training for 6ft track. Grant and I off the back on the first climb and not feeling great. Off the back again on the second running w Grant until he pulled the plug. I kept going and caught up to the others near the top. Feeling better on the second time down. Foot sore on second climb but not too bad. Hopefully regular running starting to have some benefits.

Gininderra parkrun, 17.39
First parkrun for ages, in fact had forgotten they'd changed the course. Started out steadily pushed a bit harder in the middle trying to pick up a few guys not too far in front and then hung on for the last few km. considering the running I've been doing the time was ok, ominously I tjink it was a second slower than grant ran a few weeks ago so it'll be a right race if we both turn up on the same day.

Evening run after the big storm went through. Felt crap to start with but tried to run a bit faster and do some tempo. Did a loop over little blackie and up aranda hill. Barely snuck under 4min/k at any stage so not exactly motoring along but at least it felt hard.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

Summer series at mt ainslie, tough but good course that was quite a challenge. On way to ten saw a roo resting on ground and thought that wasn't a good sign, sure enough shortly after I was standing on a track wondering where I was. Worked it out without losing too much but pretty sloppy. Good hard run, includes running to start from the city.

Morning round around the bay and over Anzac bridge. Did 10x 1min on/off and added a bit extra along the edge of the water around pyrmont to avoid running fast through the chaos of the fish markets. Good to get out early, knee feeling a lot better w all the walking I have been doing up here.
