Running 2:15:00 [3]
Arvo long run. Didn't have much of a plan but headed out through the pinnacle and then Kama with the aim of checking out the new footbridge over the molonglo. Did a bit of a detour down to the river to check out a rocky outcrop and the river before heading over the magnificent new bridge. Once on the other side of the river decided to see if I could follow it round on the south side as I've never done that. Crossed the road and bashed through a few paddocks before hitting a fire trail. When this stopped I spotted a mown track which I followed for a bit before spotting a proper walking track. This was undue construction but led all the way around to the new suburbs with some great lookouts on the way. Pleased to find the water level low enough to get across the old concrete crossing and then headed home via the arboretum. Great to explore a new area and great to see some new reserves and walking tracks being created. Also saw a stile in the farmland between the pinnacle and Kama so hopefully they are creating an official link between these areas.
