Arvo ride out through the arboretum to stromlo. Pretty warm and saw a brown snake sunning itself on one of the hairpins.
Feet got really sore towards the end and felt pretty stuffed by the time I got home. Maybe a bit to much heat and sun.

Lunchtime run, felt terrible for most of it so decided I’d smash it over aranda hill where i knew there were a few segments. At least running fast made me feel slightly better.

Had to go into work to pickup my bike so planned a run with a few Strava intervals including one of grants that I couldn’t get the other day. Pipped him to get one back for all the “uh of Gra just stole your... “ emails I’ve been getting lately.

Running 1:30:00 [3]

Got up early and caught the first bus south out to the edge of town to go for a run up in the port hills. Nice morning for a run and even though I was a bit sore and stiff got going alright once the singltrack started. Big steep rough climb and took about 50min to get to the top. Great views from the top back over Christchurch and south over the ‘port’.
Came back down a different way and needed a few stops to checki was t heading down into the wrong valley. Pretty hungry by the time I got back to the hotel.

Lap of hagley park after work. The kiwis had dragged me out for a beer straight after work so not ideal pre run prep bit did some intervals anyway to give it a bit of focus, 54321 with1 min easy. Watched the cricket with the kiwis at the pub after that so more ‘rehydration’
