Rogaining 2:10:00 [3]

Twilight 3hr rogaine with Craney on Ainslie and majura. We thought we’d be in a battle with Marty and Bourney and when we started we realised we were on a completely different route. We settled into a pretty solid pace in the warm arvo, I wasn’t feeling great with heavy legs and sore guys even after 20min but kept plugging away with Craney leading most of the way. He was doing a good job hitting the controls and we really only made one mistake of a bit over a minute. We pushed pretty hard up the last climb to the second last control and to our surprise we saw Marty and Bourney there and the race was on! We hung back a bit to the last control hoping they’d miss it but they got it fine. We pushed as hard as we could to the finish hoping we’d get a better line but they were up to the challenge and beat us by 15sec! Good fun finish but unfortunately for me I went downhill afterwards feeling sick and then vomiting and getting very dizzy with stars in my eyes and ringing in my ears which was a bit freaky. Thanks to Marty and Craney for looking after me and getting me home.

Cotter Uriarra with Thomas after school drop off. A bit windy so hard work in places but nice in others including up the last climb from Uriarra.

Running 30:00 [3]

1k warm up and then 25min tempo around the pinnacle. Was hot and windy and I didn’t feel that great compared to earlier in the week, maybe after riding yesterday arvo. Few min token warm down.

Bruce ridge ride withJP and Thomas. They were pumping along so hard work for me especially as it was very dry loose and slippery. Dinner and a beer after at aranda.

Running 40:00 [3]

Run to school and then did 10x1min on/off. Still a bit sore in hammys but good fun to run fast.
