Super busy day but snuck out for a run just before dark. Short warmup and then had a crack at Mona fartlek for the first time in ages. Struggling to read my watch by halfway so had to stick to streets for the last half.

Road bike 3:05:00 [3]

Roughly 80k loop on mix of sealed and gravel roads after dropping kids at school. Super windy and was tough work heading out to the west but then turned to be more with the wind and felt like a pro :) longest ride I’ve done for a while.

Tempo lap of lake G at lunch. Hot but got going alright and pretty consistently around 3.40 after warm up.

Climbing 40:00 [3]

At bloc haus with JP. Crowded but we managed to find some space and got a lot done. Good fun, brodburger and beer after.

Gossan hill intervals at lunch. Started conservatively but got quicker although a bit slower than last time I did these. 3.38, 35, 31, 31

Very early morning start with a crew organised by JP out to red rocks gorge. Rode bikes along the centennial trail from kambah pool and then did a few climbs on the main red rocks wall. Heated up pretty quickly but good fun.
