Climbing 1:15:00 [3]

Climbing up at Gibraltar rocks with Thomas Cads and JP. Cracker day and good fun although got on the wrong climb on the last route of the day which was a bit sketchy.

Running 1:38:00 [3]

Ran over to Nth Lyneham XC with Grant. Did the xc and had a good battle with a few guys for 2nd after Grant cleared out. Got dropped on the climb on the first lap but dig in and caught back up and then smashed it up the hill second time to stay ahead. One of the other two cracked on the hill but the young guy put the foot down and I held him for a while but then blew and finished third. Good fun. Hard slog running home with grant.

Tempo lap of lake g from work before it got dark. Pretty cold and windy compared to yesterday and so ran pretty solidly straight away, decided to keep it going for a full lap. Hard work into the wind but felt good running with it towards the end.

Morning run with 10x70sec/20sec. Haven’t done this session for ages and was a good change. Going ok for the very short recovery.

Lap of lake g at lunchtime. Did 54321 min efforts with 1 min recovery. Have done a bit of intense stretching the last few days to loosen up my hip and nerve at the back of my leg and it was amazing how much better I felt running although still not 100%
