Had planned to run the Hillsborough loop but after the first one I had to modify it as I kept losing the dog to small children with bread. I reckon it was meant for the ducks and not my slightly chubby labrador but she certainly scrounged quite a bit on the first loop. After I removed her from temptation and did loops of the forest only heading out onto the main paths when I absolutely had to.

Another run to waste a little bit of time, I felt really tired all the way through so I was quite surprised to have run a little bit faster than Tuesday.

Another Taff class, and the first half concentrated fully on the legs, and mine didn't really want to function. I was happy enough to move onto core and uppers after the break. Thankfully tomorrow is a rest day, so hopefully ill be full of beans for my next run!

Fun blast around Ward Park in Bangor, good courses with lots of changes of direction, and since I'd forgotten my compass I really had to concentrate to keep the map orientated. I made one mistake due to a combination of a slightly dodgy control description and some bad luck. The description said building edge but it should have been fence, I probably lost about 45s stuck between the building and the uncrossable fence!

Was working down by Millisle today so stopped in Newtownards on the way to parkfit to waste a bit of time. I ran the greenway along the edge of strangford, it was very windy but what was a headwind on the way out didn't materialise into a tail wind on the way home.

Slightly regretted the speed of the run when the hill came into play tonight. On the plus side I survived an entire session without either Achilles flaring up! Lots of lunges, squats and step ups to help the legs feel the burn and dips and press ups to hit the arms!

Easy Taff session, lots of strength work. Very little running and thankfully no mountain climbers as they seem to cause my Achilles to flare up. Finished with his favourite duck hunter game, I think I prefer Susan's version!
