More beat box-ing, hoovered up the Stranmillis/Queens/Malone area but couldn't find one of the boxes. I may now also be ahead of Susan on points.....

Beat the street with Susan. This is going to get very competitive very quickly. Although sticking together in the dodgy areas sounds good.

Causeway Coast 10k. Chest didn't feel great when I woke up so decided to take the start slightly easier this year in the hopes that I wouldn't suffer as badly in the first couple of k. Weather (windy) and terrain (muddy) didn't seem conducive to a fast time so I tried not to worry about it too much. Set off in a pack with 2 other girls and we were nearly taken out on the first hill by a man doing a bambi on ice impression coming backwards down it, as he had no grip.... 1st girl then pulled away and it was pointless chasing her. The other girl and I settled in, she overtook and then slowed right down so I went past and tried to push the pace a bit. She sat on my shoulder for about 4.5k and then left me for dead! As usual the second half was much nicer and I got a second wind but it wasn't enough to catch any of the other 10k-ers. But, 30s faster than last year, 3rd female and 7th overall so I'm happy enough. Maybe I need mud and rain every year :)
