Great Brown course at Seven Hills set by Jim Benton. There was only a couple of inches of snow left in the woods but the ground was soft and muddy in places underneath. I walked a lot of the course but managed to run some in the woods and got back some more confidence.
Y mini training: good form running clinic where we were video taped and then had our gaits analyzed. I seem to heel strike and swing my arms too far in front. The recommended cadence is 180 steps/min.
Y mini training: Fartlek S on Monon; 5 min aerobic, 2:30 aerobic max, 30 sec snappy, 1 min walk. 22.5 min S then back in almost the same time. I'm getting better at starting out slower so the return leg is in the same time.
