Orienteering 1:50:47 [2] 3.71 mi (29:52 / mi) +105m 27:26 / mi
shoes: X-Talon 212

OCIN Mitchell Memorial Forest Red course set by Mike Minium. Control 1 was easy but then got completely lost in the mountain bike trails on the south side of the park and discouraged by the white-mapped dark green terrain that, after spending over 65 min getting to control 2, decided to bail and walk back to the start which took over 40 min. So, just a 2 control map hike on a warm and humid day.

shoes: Pearl Izumu

MF clinic on using clipless pedals with Mark Ewing; started feeling more comfortable but even with only one foot clipped in, managed to fall on an unexpected Stop command. I need to cement the habit of leaning left when stopping.

Trying out clipless pedals. First one foot then the other, it seemed to go well so tried both feet in clipless shoes and promptly fell twice when distracted by A.
