SMOC training; Greg's Circular map training with a map with no indication of N and no compass. Started out pretty good, blew past C2 and had to come back on it, C3 and C4 were good but blew up on C5 with a bad plan. Found C9 and C2 but ended up in seemingly never-ending green lower than C5. Bailed and got myself back with my compass. Really good exercise to work on contour reading.

SMOC training Relay; I was the second leg on a Greg/Brenda team. Went pretty well except C5 was in the middle of enough green that I decided I was finished and wanted to get back to the car before the thunderstorm started.
While I felt very unfit, all the training exercises were really helpful on a couple of interesting maps. Thanks SMOC and Greg!
