Trekking (Orienteering) 1:17:00 [4] 5.9 km (13:03 / km)
shoes: Speed Cross

Orienteering at Peach Mountain - Igor's shorter Farsta course

7 controls on the first map, back to the start, new map with 7 controls, with 4 of them shared between the two maps.

I had picked the shorter course as I haven't done much orienteering in 2016. I didn't have much trouble with the controls, except for being pulled too far east on #6 on the second map. Pretty neat format. Nice woods, with some very runable sections. And of course, if there are brambles and burrs to be found, I will find them!

Trekking (Orienteering) 1:10:00 [3] 4.3 km (16:17 / km)
shoes: Speed Cross

Control pick up.

Some I had been to during the course, some I hadn't. Ironically, I floundered on the two easiest ones......one wasn't far from a trail, but the green was so thick, I passed by it twice before seeing it. The other one was one I'd visited twice before, but came at it from a totally different angle and ended up on the trail south of it.

And yes, there was green and burrs :)

Spin class 55:00 [3]

Hard climbing at a "I'm going to need to get off and push before I fall off" pace and less hard climbing at a fast pace.
I has a wonderful movie from 3 weeks ago in the Yorkshire Dales playing in my head, so it really didn't matter to me that the sound system in the studio konked out and there was no music.

Spin class 45:00 [3]

Got there 5 minutes late but Paul had saved a bike for me. Alternating between heavy duty climbing (just about ready to get off and push) and high cadence gradual climb.

Jogging (Trails) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Speed Cross

It rained so no late hours tonight at work! A glorious hour plus of winding my way through the spaghetti plate of trails called Two Creeks. And I didn't catch them all. With poles.
Trails are in the best condition I have seen in a long time for biking. Might need to do that someday.
