Spin class 50:00 [3]

Sustained efforts.

And that darn slider activity from last night is haunting me tonight. As it usually does.....

Gym time (Class) 50:00 [3]
shoes: Other

This was advertised as TRX/Kettlebell.
It was not really that.
The class started with 20 minutes of step, which is quite h-e-double hockey stickish to me, having not done single-single-double-tap-toe-turn for, ummm, half a lifetime. So I zigged while everyone else zagged.
The TRX part was really just 3 different moves, alternating with one legged push ups while balancing one hand on a Kettlebell. Then lunges with a slider while holding the Kettlebell. And hopping back and forth over the step with the Kettlebell, incorporating squats.
A decent cardio workout, but not the workout with weights that I expected.

Spin class 55:00 [3]

A lot of 2-5 minute sustained efforts.

My legs look like I have measles, after the briar patch disaster on Sunday. To avoid being kicked out of the gym for fear of transmitting a nasty disease, I wore capris.

Maybe that is why no one sat near me in the hockey changing room last night.

Hockey 30:00 [3]

Some glimmers of hope in the hand-eye coordination department.

Gravel Bike (Rail trail/pavé) 1:20:00 [3] 17.0 mi (12.8 mph)

Daybreak ride to the Arner then down along the harbour. Wintery mix falling as I started, then rain to finish.

Trekking (Orienteering) 1:30:00 [3]

Moving time.
I thought I had my $&/# together, work-wise, so I could escape for the afternoon. I was wrong. Trying to hold a bearing through green stuff while talking on the phone is not a skill I possess. I eventually figured out it was better to stand still while on the phone, rather than circling around aimlessly. I skipped a few controls in the interest of time, having started late enough as it was.
Cold, November Rain!

Hockey 30:00 [3]

I found myself on the offense a couple times. Very unusual, for me.
