Jogged to the grocery store to pick up heavy whipping cream for an unexpected family dinner.
Walked home as carrying both whipping cream and a tub of ice cream while jogging was a bit awkward. It has been a long time since ice cream has been in our house. With a jug of fresh maple syrup in the refrigerator, dessert will be terrific!

Heartbreaker of a gold medal game. We were ahead by a goal with 47 seconds to go. My defense partner and I came off, and we ended up losing by a goal. WTH.

After doing mulch for most of the day, we drove to Harrow and biked from there, for a change of scenery. North into the wind on the rail trail, SW to Amherstburg on the trail, then east INTO THE WIND, back to the rail trail then south to town. Yup, the wind had changed. By then the temperature had dropped to +1C. Merino has been a good investment this winter.
