Since May 31 is our year end at work, I really didn't think it would be a good idea for me to leave work on the 30th. So I stuck it out til 3:30 pm on the 31st, then headed to the Detroit airport for an evening flight to Wichita KS (Paul had left on the 30th, driving down with the bikes). My flight was delayed and delayed and delayed, so I ultimately missed the connection to Wichita. I did get on a flight to Kansas City, but that meant Paul would need to drive 2 hours to pick me up at half past midnight, rather than 1.5 hours for an 11 pm pick up. So we saw 2:30 am on Friday. And we don't sleep in very well, so tried to take as many naps as possible on Friday.
And then got up at 3:30 am on Saturday.
And ultimately, went to bed at 3:30 am on Sunday.
And got up at 6:30 Sunday morning, drove home, and went to bed at 3:30 Monday morning, only to get up at 5 am Monday morning for work.
I think I have this sleep deprivation thing down pat now.
