Spin class 50:00 [3]

Resistance

Cyclocross (SS gravel/pavement) 2:20:00 [3] 27.0 mi (11.6 mph)

I opted for the SS as it had flat pedals. So I could wear Sorels. That was a win. Barmitts were also a win. And the downhill ski helmet. And goggles.

Sunny day....minimal wind. A lot of pedalling with the SS.

Note

Everyone (including the super built guy in the bootcamp class) was moving stiffly today. So it isn't just me!

Spin class 55:00 [3]

I worked in the London area today and actually managed to get my $!*# together enough to go to the 5:30 spin class at the Movati South (same franchise as here in K'ville). Same spin bikes, different spin on the routine. Sweaty!

Hockey 40:00 [3]

I got the call to spare at Wheatley tonight (which has the best ice I have played on in my limited hockey lifetime) . There were 2 on the bench which means you take the position of whoever comes off, gasping for air. As a commited D, I went out of my comfort zone and played winger. When a Centre came off, I deferred to a better player. She wouldn't let me do that the next time. Nor the next. I even took a faceoff. Due to some awesome teamwork, I scored 3 times. In a row. I may have scored 3 goals in my life before this (not counting the ones I accidentally deflected into our own net).
With only 2 on the bench there was lots of skating time!

XC Skiing (Breaking trail) 1:10:00 [3] 3.2 mi (2.7 mph)

D invited me to come skiing in their woods. Yes! Point Pelee is still closed for the deer cull so to be able to ski in the woods on such a windy day is a treat.
So nice in the woods! Sunshine is always a delight, regardless of the temp. It was good to have a chatty putter around the woods.

Hockey 25:00 [3]

One of those nights where it is warmer on the ice surface than outside.....

But if I didn't have to go to work tomorrow, I would be doing a midnight ski.
