My hip flexors and calves were a little sore this morning, so instead of running, I chose to bike for 30 min and then foam roll, stretch, and do some core exercises.

Sarah was going Skate skiing so I rode with her to Lester...then I ran home from there, walking at a solid pace up the hills to stay around level 1.

This wasn't actually a strength workout...I shoveled and moved 5 box spring/mattress sets around for around 3 hours and basically did a bunch of squat/deadlifts, core twists, and shoulder/arm work.

So, since I'm feeling tired, I'm skipping the strength workout today and counting all the shoveling and furniture moving I did towards my training...haha

Sarah and I officially started training for Grandma's Marathon today with an easy hour-and-a-half run on the lake walk. Tomorrow's plan is an easy hour of either running or skiing...and a moderate strength workout.
