Early and dark 30min run before not heading to the airport this morning. Glad I got it done because I am not sure when I will be getting in to Boston.

20min WU, 3 X (3, 2, 1min hard with 1min easy) with 2min between sets, 22min CD

Really good WO today. This workout crushed me last year - the last set my hard minutes were just trying to be faster than a shuffle - so I was excited / intimidated to do this one again.

Each set was stronger than the one before - really in deep on the last set and just pushed, worked the arms and ran strong. Extended the CD to get in some extra mileage and practice running well when I was tired.

Starting to feel fit.

Long run from Balabuck's house onto the trails behind NorWester View school.

Wow - I have never run on these trails before and I am glad to have found them. It was pretty snowy and the footing wasn't great but still awesome run. Ran right up to the top of the mountain - about 25min of constant grinding uphill. Downhill were flying. Lots of fun.
