Saturday Feb 13 #

Running 50:00 [3] 10.0 km (5:00 / km)

Late night at work. Got out for a decent run in the dark on the bluffs trails. Headlamp died so I had to come back on the roads.

Friday Feb 12 #

Running 40:00 [3] 8.0 km (5:00 / km)

Was hoping to race tonight but got off work later than I hoped. Ran the course as a preview. Tried to go easy but so sore - maybe recovery weeks are overrated!

Thursday Feb 11 #

Running 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)

Before work. Cold, sore, tired.

Wednesday Feb 10 #

Running 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)

Before work - sore and tired. Got smart and brought a second headlamp for when the first one died.

Tuesday Feb 9 #

Running 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)
slept:9.0

Better, feeling more rested. Head lamp still tried to die but I made it through.

Monday Feb 8 #

Running 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)
slept:9.0

Decent run before work this morning. Had two pairs of mitts so nice and warm. Ran from my house up to the Bluffs and back. My head lamp died at the turn around so the run home was slow and dark.

Sunday Feb 7 #

Running 2:00:00 [3] 24.0 km (5:00 / km)
slept:10.0

Well about the best thing I can say about that is that I got it done. Minus 38 with the wind chill this morning and 123km in the last 7 days makes for a bit of a slog. For some reason I had to stop for 4 pees and a plop this run. I would just get warm and then have to stop. My hands were numb most of the run, need two pairs of mitts next time it is this cold. Left hip flexor needs lots of work.
