Two hour run this morning with Anto, Power, and Sadie. About normal, sore and tired but manageable. Just shuffling along.

Hoot Race # 4: 28:19

I was really not looking forward to this. Tough week at work and just feeling drained. Legs were sore and heavy on the WU and really had to talk myself into just focusing on getting into and staying in the hard. I don't remember the last time my legs were this sore in a race. Effort was great and I stayed in the hard, even managed a couple of stretches of almost crusey running.

Thursday Feb 9, 2023 #

slept:8.0 weight:168.1lbs

Barefoot Run 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)

30min barefoot after work. Ran further than usual with less effort, still the usual soreness and fatigue.

Lunge circuit X 4
Good Stretch

Tuesday Feb 7, 2023 #

Running 1:15:00 [3] 16.0 km (4:41 / km)
slept:8.0 weight:168lbs

- 26min WU, 24min of 3:30 steady right into 30s surge (on the trail to the Bluffs - up in 6:27 and 6:16), 25min CD

This was good. I am amazed at how I am recovering between hard efforts. I was so sore and tired yesterday but today that was mostly gone and I was able to push. I guess sleeping and not drinking have some benefits. Need a good stretch tomorrow.

Monday Feb 6, 2023 #

Running 40:00 [3] 7.0 km (5:43 / km)
slept:8.0

Ran the Hoot Race # 4 course. Sore and tired.

Running 22:00 [3]

Ran with Violet on the LU River Trails. She is getting tough.

Sunday Feb 5, 2023 #

Running 3:02:44 [3] 32.0 km (5:43 / km)
slept:9.75

- 4 X Tower (24:37 + 21:05 = 45:43, 24:20 + 20:54 = 45:14, 23:53 + 21:08 = 45:01, 23:47 + 20:43 = 44:30)

Ran with Anto, Kyle, and John R? Less fatigue than usual but legs were stiff and sore. Felt a bit less taxing than usual even with the extra hill. There was an inch or two of fresh snow which slowed things down a bit.
