A (very) on-route stop on the way home for a little family leg stretch. Easy jogging and chatting with Alice, with a small amount of doubling back for Dad at points. Route was ridiculously muddy, but otherwise pretty nice considering. Legs a bit tired from the excessive amount of sick shapes cut yesterday, but otherwise feeling fine.

Warwick Parkrun
In town for a family wedding, so made sense to kick things off with a family parkrun (feat. the groom). Course was pretty flat and fast, but surprisingly not too dull. From about 500m in I sat about 5 seconds behind 1st but couldn't really seem to do anything about it; not complaining though as was happy with the time at the finish. Would be good to see what I can do without the hotel full cooked breakfast an hour before, but obviously wasn't going to pass that up.

Jogged a lap with Alice, who was then keen for strides so joined in for them too. Went for a bit of blind wander about town afterwards, which seems like a pretty nice place.

Had not planned to do the O training, but really wasn't feeling doing anything else in all the wind and rain (plus all the rest of the flat were going) so went along for a few intervals on Blackford. Was feeling okay and ended up having lot of fun with the head-to-head gaffled racing. Did get mugged off by one sneaky slope descending route though, where I went round thanks to some FwtN Hermitage slope PTSD and everyone else bombed it straight.

Feeling pooped all day and already started the session drop-out bargaining process on the warm-up; however 3 reps seemed a bit week and then 4 is basically 5, so ended up grinding it all out. Bit lonely out front by myself and very slippy slippy all the way, but got it done.

Initial small Meadows lap with Dan, Bash and Jack. Then headed south with model citizen Dan to return a lost wallet he'd found, halfway through which Bash headed home. Then right as I bid Dan farewell, a wild Gregor appeared so chatted to him at DVC for a while, before the Haires headed off to scout the BUCS course and I returned home. Bit of an odd one really, but distracted nicely from the tired legs.
