Road Running 1:10:35 [2] 13.4 km (5:16 / km) +481m 4:28 / km
shoes: Mizuno Wave Riders 24

Set out with the plan to see the sunset from the hill top, which went well (and even found a nicer way to get to the good stuff from the flat). Thought I would have enough time to boost along the top and get down into town before it got dark, but just ended up confused in the dark and unable to find a safe way back. However, just as I was losing hope, stumbled across a long and spindly flight of steps that brought me back to civilisation and from there managed to follow my nose downhill and back home. Another place I need to come back to with some light though as things mostly looked very nice, but didn't want to voyage too far into the unknown in the scary darkness.

Made it to the big boy hills! A steep and rocky climb up and then just stuck to the main track along the top for the most part. Definitely saw some interesting looking paths all over the place, but one step at a time. Things were pretty warm but not uncomfortable, however if this is November weather, I expect I will be unable to move outside during the day by around April.

Road Running 45:29 [2] 10.38 km (4:23 / km) +117m 4:09 / km

Visiting Rambla de Badal and Montjuïc, which seem like two pretty solid places to run. Montjuïc in particular is very nice and I will definitely need to come back for a more thorough explore with some daylight, and if and when I feel the need to do some intervals, seems like this would be a solid area to investigate.

Went to see a big church, and then the beach, and then up a bit of a hill on the way back. All rather enjoyable really and the time seemed to pass pretty quickly.

Trail Running 1:00:59 [2] 10.01 km (6:06 / km) +359m 5:10 / km
shoes: X-Talons 212 WK2

356 with Dad. Persistent cold rain and wind for the most part. Underfoot conditions varied between a muddy stream and a wet spongey moss, and headtorches were very much needed for the second half. Had a great time though.

Road Running 37:59 intensity: (27:59 @3) + (10:00 @4) 10.11 km (3:45 / km) +110m 3:34 / km
shoes: Mizuno Wave Riders 23

Was in need of some good honest head-clearing miles and this nicely fit the bill. Felt rough to start but was feeling a bit more crusiey by the end.
