Orienteering race 25:17 [2] * 1.65 mi (15:20 / mi) +47ft 14:55 / mi
spiked:9/9c

Cold night in the woods (around 20F).

I'm trying not to aggravate my knee any more. So I decided to do the short/white course, and WALK, even though my freezing body was telling me to run. It's the first time I have done a White course. Looking back on it, I should have probably done the medium course, which was set at an orange level, to get a better feel for Night-O (and for less standing-around time after the finish).

After a LONG break from running (except for O meets), I finally felt that my knee was feeling well enough to give it a shot. I jogged a slow mile (10:30) at Lebanon, and when I started to feel the start of knee pain, I walked the rest. Walking felt fine, and I had no pain the rest of the day.
