My legs were still drained from the rogaine the day before. I didn't feel very fast, but I had fairly decent navigation, except for going too far right to #9, and having to relocate. I went too far right again to #10, but was able to correct easier. Then going to #11, I dropped down off the road, thinking I would be able to see easier--I should have stayed up on the road another 25m or so.

My first time at Jay Cooke, and it was a great course set/vet by Ian, Mike, and Julia. Did the 3-hour option with Pete Daniels, and finished first in the category with 100 points, including one of the 20-point controls. 3 hours was plenty for me--my legs were shot! Lots of great potluck food to refuel afterward.
