-Oyy vey does cross country suck. Went out fast and in good position - probably like 10th. But probably like 2 min in a bunch of girls passed me. I kept telling myself it's a long race, be patient, they'll come back to you. Kept the pace up and was feeling decent. Second lap I was still feeling alright, got passed by a few girls but was also passing some. Third lap I lost sooo much motivation. Shayna passed me like 700m into the lap, then Kate. Went with them for a bit but was just hating life so much. I wasn't even feeling that terrible. Caught a few more girls. Then got another in the last 100m. Had a good finish. All in all it was meh. Was upset after I calculated my splits but then thought about it and the course is pretty slow with all the hair pin turns, etc. Overall I think I'm fitter than this result shows but I need to work on the mental aspect of xc racing!

-Love taper! Felt like shit today so was so happy it wasn't a full wo. Saw my first client in the clinic so it was a stressful and tiring day. Might have liked to go slower but some rookie was pushing the pace - so annoying!!!

-This was okay. We couldn't go on the regular m loop because there were kids cross country race. That made the 800m loop into an even 1k which was a little rough. We went at a decent pace though! Happy with this. Feeling a bit like I have a cold

-This was good! We were supposed to take the first one very conservatively which we did. Felt pretty good today. Faster than we did this last year and it was later in the year too! He had wanted us to do 4 but I really didn't want to be doing a 30 min tempo so we called it at 3.
