Got into physio at WinSport today. Was waiting to see what he said to decide whether to run or cross train of whether I could partake in the Parloff. So he said I tore my abductor hallucis. I likely kept straining it by running and eventually it tore leading to the bruising and swelling. It was most likely from running fast on the track causing me to overpronate. Good news it's not weight bearing or anything so it isn't implicated too too much in running. Bad news I'm back on the bike. It shouldn't set me back too badly - we came up with a plan to get me running and back on track in due time. Decided not to do any activity today.

-This was rough. Foot was feeling alright going into it - a bit sore but nothing major. Talked to Doug about it before and he said to trust my judgement. In my head I knew I probably shouldn't be running. I guess I wanted him to tell me not to run but also didn't.. Just being stupid. During the first set the pain got progressively worse but only on the rest. Decided after one set I was being an idiot and went on the bike. After that tried to do weights but was feeling pretty demoralized so just called it a day.

-This was okay. Feeling really good on the 800s. First one was rather comfortable but Nicole wanted to pick it up for the others. I was feeling good so figured why not. My foot was getting progressively more sore but and really started hurting after 3 so I hopped on the bike. At first my foot was sore feeling just like DOMS but it got stiffer and stiffer and more painful as I went. Was annoyed to be on the bike. Weights were meh.
--Afterwards foot was rather swollen on the inside (medial). Pressing on it it was hard as rock. Similar to this time last year I guess. Took some advil and wore compression socks to bed. Less swelling Wednesday morning and a little less painful

-Was pretty unmotivated to do this. Decided to go to the dog park so I could at least see dogs. Probably saw like 30 which was fantastic!! Was feeling pretty good. All over the place pace wise -- I think I went slower through the park so I could look at dogs for longer lollolol

-This was good. Feeling super content on the moderate around 4:20 pace and didn't want to pick it up but we did. Was around 4:05 for tempo which I'm happy with. Speed was great!! Felt so nice to be going quickly! Super smooth and fun. Foot was a bit sore on tempo but not bad
