-This was a decent opener. I felt like absolute death. The race went out pretty quickly - I was towards the back and went through 200 in like 32. 400 split was 68 and I moved up so people at the front were just being idiots (Emma D). Was in 5th for most of the start. Moved up to 4th on the 3rd lap and 3rd on the 4th lap. Also picked it up a bit on the last lap. Tried to swing out to get around Lesley but ran out of space before the final turn so tucked back in. Last 50m was battling it out with Lesley and she just edged me out - obvs I didn't have enough hate left in the tank. Was absolutely dead afterwards - this was a huge shock to the system. Sat and died for like 10 min, then dry heaved a bit then got it together for cool down.
Overall I think I ran this race smart and was patient. Could have been a bit more decisive in my moves but probably one of my best races tactically. Did not feel like we ran over 3 because of how dead I was afterwards

-This was nice to get moving. Seemed as though the drive took us years and I was so ready to be off the bus. Wasn't feeling too garbage. Doug said to do the 200 around 800 pace but I mostly just did it fast but floaty. Power went out just before the 200 so we did it in the dark which was fun. Legs a bit sore but pretty good!

-Short run today. Just trying to get immune system going. It was hella cold -- like colder than -30. Was supposed to get much warmer in the afternoon but didn't have time to do it then so had to do first thing in the morning. Wasn't too bad

-This was pretty good. Was at practicum so got there a bit late and had to catch up. Wasn't feeling super warmed up when we started but it wasn't too bad. Wanted to go out in 47 but Emma whipped around me and took off. I told myself I didn't need to go with her but kind of did. Was 46 high anyway and it didn't feel too bad. 200 was good, 100 felt a bit rough and I was tying up. Spiked up for the second set. Feeling a bit better before the 2nd set. 300 felt really smooth and quick. 200 felt a bit less smooth but still peppy. 100 felt pretty ugly but apparently didn't look that bad. Was tired after this but surprisingly not super crazy lactic. Overall happy with this workout considering it was the first 600 one of the year. Felt a little rusty but happy to have it under my belt before this weekend.
Weights were okay - super busy in the weight room so we couldn't do deadlifts or anything.

-This was alright. Feeling a bit better than yesterday but my breathing was still heavier than it should have been given the pace I was going. Was also pretty nauseous. Plan was 10 run then 10 bike because we were doing it around the oval which isn't ideal. 10 min on the bike was alright - kept HR and breathing up. 150s were good but they huuurt. They felt super long - I would get like 120 in and be like omg why isn't this over! Overall a decent day. Foot felt like there was a lot of pressure in it during tempo but felt fine afterwards.

-Was super cold out again today. Wanted to do at least 40 but that was just not happening. I was at or above tempo for the majority of this which was just ridiculous. I was also suuuper nauseous the entire time. Called it at 20
