Running (Full Loops) 1:30:00 [3] 20.0 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Adidas Boston Boost (Green)

Race Day Preactive
Roll
15up + Active + 3 x Full Loops /3min + 25down
5:00 + 4:52 (9:52)
5:02 + 5:02 (10:04)
4:57 + 4:58 (9:55)

Decent workout today. The first felt hard and I was really surprised that the 2nd loop was as fast as it was... 9:52 is a new record for me on full loops by far. The one felt harder than the first one and was way slower. The third was about the same as the 2nd one. I think I could have ran a little harder and I let Dom get away both times but I didnt want to get into a saturday effort. I probably could have went faster but then I would have had to give everything!

Push + Sit
Roll + roll again at hangar
Ice tube with Tree at hangar

Quick shakeout... took a break after pumping out an assignment worth a piddly 3% that took way too F$@#2 long as far as I am concerned....

Running 35:00 [3] 7.78 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Adidas Boston Boost (Green)

Off from school today so I could sleep in and run later. And, try to catch up on course work... + appointment with new baby! Anyways ... ran my 5 mile loop this morning. Run was good, but I still feel tired ... not so much physically, but I am mentally drained. Not sure how long I can keep all this up!
4 PM

Water Running 45:00 [3] 4.5 km (10:00 / km)

Pool Preactive
6min Swim Kick
Drills
3 x (1,2,1 /:30) /:45

This was a really good pool workout. I went hard and really worked the second minute of the two minuter as well as the last one minute.
3 PM

Running 1:15:00 [3] 16.67 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Addidas Response Boost

1:15:00 from St. Pats up to the hangar to meet up with Tree. Tree and I ran together for about 35 minutes from hangar and around the golf course at Chapples. Soloed back to St. Pat's for about last 10 minutes.

Did Drills and Strides outside then went in the school to do hip mobility and stretch.

Ice on achilles and right big toe joint (freaking bunion is getting bigger and is starting to hurt more and more)

Stole one of Slomke's rollers and rolled there too.

Running (Tempo/Steady Surge) 1:10:00 [3] 15.56 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Addidas Boston Boost

WO Preactive + Roll
15up + 20@Tempo, 2mins + 2:30/:30 x 5 + 18cd with 3 HS

This was a super tough workout but I got the job done and really hit the right effort. Was at tempo pretty much entire time after first couple minutes and tried pushing it above and then bringing it back into control... need to work on maintaining the speed rather than slowing down though.

Steady Surge was rough but the surges were really good I thought. I figure I need to work on the leg turn over so I didnt hold back on it... although it was difficult getting back into steady after that. Hill Surge hurt and were slower than usual but i gave them all I had each one.

Push + Sit
Stretch/Roll
Ice achilles at home and right big toe (the joint is starting to hurt.

Running long 1:30:00 [3] 20.0 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Addidas Response Boost

Long run preactive with AC
1:30:00 run
30 HOH

I was surprised that I was not sore on this run today. ALTHOUGH.... usually after a hard effort it takes more than 24hrs for it to set in with me. Either way I think this means that there is more to give at a race. I should feel completely trashed after if I run it right. Not much else to say.
7 PM

Running 30:00 [3] 6.67 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Addidas Response Boost

Took a while to get out the door with all that is happening but managed. Run was good... way faster than this morning. Not really all that sore.
