First... I was pretty excited to be finished and upon hearing I came 19th... but Wow! That was just insane!!! So hot!

However, now that I have had some time to think about it... I did go out pretty strong and felt really good at 10km. But as per usual, I cramped up bad around 13km and fought with it for the rest of the entire race!!!! So ... I had to let go of the group of about 4 other guys to slow down and work it out. The heat did not help things either but I just kept trying to run hard while managing the pain in my diaphragm.

Im about ready to pack this running deal in! Seriously every time I race I cramp up and am forced run slow. I know I am in stupid shape right now and why I continually cramp up ... well how knows ... despite working on flexibility for the last 4 weeks, getting physio on my upper body, spending 3 days a week at the gym working on core for 30minutes + all the other stuff we do at practice and constant stretching, it still happens!

15up + 12 @Tempo, 3mins + 3 x 1min (hard), 1min (steady) + Down to 50

This was just gross how good it was... end of story. Started tempo with Joe for a wee bit and then just absolutely crushed. (Tempo supposed to be 12minutes but I figured I would just go to 4 beeps) Went 3:17, 3:05, 3:01, 2:53 for the 4km of tempo and felt good too. Was almost getting 400m in the one minters.

Decent workout today. Legs felt good but hips seemed tight.

This ended up being the best off day run all week. Started out a little run but the last 45 I was rolling pretty good and the effort felt very comfortable. Very happy that things finally came back around... Maybe just needed to do a workout and turn the legs over.

Absolutely sick run.... Not sure why but I felt really good this afternoon. Was rolling pretty good this morning but this was definitely faster.
