Running (VO2 Max Miles) 1:25:00 [5] 18.89 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Adidas Adios Boost Purple

Preactive + Roll 15up + Full Active 3min @ Tempo 6 x 1 mile @Max with 5min 15cd This was okay. I was hoping it was gonna go a little better and was hoping to be faster than last year. I dont remember starting right at the bridge though last year... Think we started about 10 after it at the tree... anyways worked incredibly hard and got a lot out. Not sure what happened on the 5th one but I had nothing. 4:51, 4:47, 4:56, 4:49, 5:09, 4:49

Eliptical 1:05:00 [3] 6.5 km (10:00 / km)

Actually felt not bad this afternoon but my calf is still bothering me. Elliptical was really good though. spent a lot of time rolling after.

Thursday Oct 6 #

7 AM

Running (Barefoot Running) 35:00 [3] 7.78 km (4:30 / km)

OD Preactive + Roll
35:00 BF
Hip Mobility
3 x Strides

Ankles and calves are very sore. Quads are much better than yesterday but overall I'm an exhausted train wreck! Did an extra 5 because I am trying to get as much mileage in as a can right now.
3 PM

Running 1:00:00 [3] 13.33 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-3000 Green

Pretty tough run. Feeling sick, right calf really sore.... probably won't run tomorrow.

Rolled and iced the calf but it was still sore all night.

Wednesday Oct 5 #

6 AM

Running 25:00 [3] 5.56 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-3000 Green

Stretch and roll
Easy 25:00

This was tough. Woke up feeling terribly sore and stiff so I forced myself out the door to try and loosen up for the day. Run was slow!
4 PM

Running (Loops) 1:20:00 [3] 17.78 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Adidas Adios Boost Purple

Preactivation + Roll
15UP + Active
Full, Half, Half, Full
15ish CD

This was just outright terrible. I knew it was going to be too, but i tried putting that aside and tried to focus on just running each interval well. First one was not really all that bad at 10:19 which was faster than the first full two weeks ago. First half loop was very tough and after that I pretty did not even try. Wasted a good opportunity to grind and get better.

Tuesday Oct 4 #

7 AM

Water Running 45:00 [3] 4.5 km (10:00 / km)

Preactive + Exercises + Roll

Pretty solid pool workout today. Went really hard on the last set.

3 PM

Running 1:00:00 [3] 13.33 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-3000 Green

Really good run this afternoon... disappointed that I only did an hour though because I felt so good, however I was pressed for time with other commitments today.

Monday Oct 3 #

5 PM

Running 1:15:00 [3] 16.67 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Adidas Adios Boost Purple

Preactive + Roll + Stretch
20UP + 2(5x2min with 1min) / 2min + 25CD w 3 hill surges

This was awesome! First 4 intervals on first set Derek and I were flying. Ended up getting away on the second set and intervals 2 and 3 were as good but managed to run very fast again on the final 2.

Noticing that raw speed has come out of nowhere as the hill strides were fast and I didnt get smoked like I have been in the past.
