This was good pretty I guess ... no means great ... but certainly a lot tougher than I thought. I didn't push super hard but I had to work harder than I wanted to just to run the times I did.
Last two weeks have been 100 mile + weeks so it's not bad that I was still able to stay pretty consistent throughout the workout.

Ice Bath once I got home (Note: shin kinda hurts) - boooo!

Ran on treadmill. Not risking an injury on ice nor I am about to run a hard workout in -30C weather. Last time I did that I had to take 3 days off because I hurt my foot due to the cold. But anyways ...

Really happy with this. The steady was solid at 3:10k pace (11.8) and the :30 surges were ripping at 2:58k pace (12.6). Wanted to make sure I was running faster than goal time for marathon. Getting straight back into steady after the surges weren't too bad either and actually made the steady feel a little easier. Felt pretty good after 25 minutes so I did another 5... then decided to run to 10km. Ran then last two 3:30/:30s a bit quicker than the first 24mins of it. Was through 10km in 31:30ish and felt good about it.

Really hard to gauge what that means because it's treadmill, but I'd like to think I could come very close to replicating that outside were conditions are ideal.

Good run this morning... last 6min fairly quickish... longest barefoot i've ever done.

Was able to get my run in while kids were napping. Had mom come over so I could run! Now i'm done for the day and it's only 3:15! Yes!

Run started out pretty sluggish and I thought: 'yup gonna feel that 4x5km workout today.' But, after about an hour things got better and by 22km I started to feel really good. Ended up rolling the next 10.5km pretty good in just over 40mins... much better long run than last Weds. Beat the snow and wind that seems to have started now too :)

Probably do some kind of shake out activity later today.

20 minutes of moving the legs around after 45mins of weights. Lower body pretty sore after pretty well 100km in 3 days.

Good run this morning. Really don't feel all that beat up from yesterday ... yet! I think everyone in this town must still be drunk because I saw about 4 cars the entire run and I ran exclusively on the main roads because nothing else in plowed.
