This was alright. First 20km was fine but the last 10 I dealt with cramps again and stomach issues.... Felt awful the whole time of last 10km barely finished the cool down without an accident!!!

Long stretch and roll session.

Easy peasy hour this morning. Everything felt good. Did not warm up achilles enough though and it was sore the whole run.... not worried about it though.

Didn’t want push the calf today but it felt pretty good throughout... some sharp pains out of nowhere a few times that scared me but they only lasted about 2 seconds.

This was good. Calf felt good but not 100%. I was gonna run even longer after I got to 45 but my heels and feet were killing me so I just stopped. Debating on running again later today or ellipticaling.... either way i'll do something. Work on the max bench maybe? lol

I don't know how I feel about this.

A / a good idea to have ellipticaled and have been cautious given the calf but it felt totally fine this morning.

B / had the weather been more desirable, I would have run again today.

Preactive + spent a good deal of time just rolling the calves.

Usually Pool Festivities. I had to do all deep water stuff because my calf really hurt. It start acting up pretty good yesterday during the cool down. Should have stopped immediately but noooo... being dumb, I ran 5km on it and now it's frigged up. >:|

Yay elliptical later!!!!

It'll get sorted up ... just need to not do anything stupid. Like eat my feelings or sign up for a body building contest.

steady hour on the elliptical. Sore at the top of calf.

Apparently I strained and aggravated the popliteus and the medial calf head. As far as therapist could tell it's not injured but just a possible strain.

Said to ice/heat/ice/heat rather than just ice because it didn't feel inflammed. Apparently right quad was super tight as well.

I hope it's god awful freezing and a hurricane at every race I go to this year! All those guys training in BC and their temperate climate, and all these bloaks training in Toronto at club med over there complaining when it's -10 ... >:|
wouldn't last a week up here...

Fortunate to have some decent temps last week but the average high for about the next two week is like -17C ... Either way .... getting it done in -31 today !!!

Good run today. Fairly windy at 6:45 and the first part was cold but back 45 was solid once I got going with a tail wind.

Good run. Put on compression socks after ice bathing early today. wore them off and on and stretch off and on throughout the day. WOW WOW!!! My calve felt AWESOME on the run today. Did some reading and apparently wearing compression gear after icing is really good. I concur!

Mo mileage, mo stretching, mo icing, mo fitness!!!! less niggles and injuries :)
