This was pretty boring, I find anything over an hour fifteen on the elliptical pretty rough. Legs were okay for the elliptical and felt decent on the run. There was some soreness but it was most likely from the running not the bone/muscle being sore. Going to try 45 min run tomorrow and just grind through it if it keep staying sore. If it gets worse then we'll have to play it by ear. Off to Stoon on the early flight tomorrow. ETT: 5.

Decent workout this morning but once again my legs were totally numb by the start of the third set. I guess that means I'm working hard. Starting to get used to the elliptical though so thats weird. Legs felt pretty rested since I took Joe's advice and took yesterday totally off. Looking forward to maybe doing a little run tomorrow with the boys. Elliptical is boring! ETT: 6.

Saw Joe this morning around 11 and she said I had quite a bit of scar tissue on my calf and that there was some swelling. I didn't really believe her about the swelling at the start but then she made me feel a regular muscle then my calf and it was pretty apparent then that she was right. She did some massaging and ultrasound and suggested I get an X-ray to make sure its nothing in the bone. She thinks it most likely isn't bone but I should check to make sure. Anyways, elliptical was all right. Pretty boring but got through it with Seb. Did a lot of extra rolling today. ETT: 7.

This workout was pretty good. My right toe was getting pretty frigan warm and sore though hammering on the elliptical. Seems to get that way after about 30 minutes. Calf was a bit tight but I noticed it wasn't as sore post elliptical as usual. Didn't want to chance it doing a stride or anything though. Overall good day, was going around level 9 at 180 per minute or so. Biked for the cool down harder then the elliptical because my feet were basically numb haha. ETT: 6.

Ran today for the first time since last Wednesday I believe. Starting out it felt fine but about 5 min in my calf started to hurt so I turned around. I still don't know if its bone or muscle but I want to say muscle. Its in that area around the shin so its kind of hard to tell since I've never had a stress fracture or any bone problems. However, I feel like if it was bone then I would just know based on the pain. Ended up going on the elliptical and it was throbbing a bit on there but not because of the elliptical itself, most likely from the run. Going to try again tomorrow to see if today was just my leg getting used to the motions again and not just an injury. Feeling optimistic. ETT: 6.

Not a bad day in the pool. Calf was hurting during warm up but wasn't too bad in the pool. I felt it during drills though. Going to try and run later today and hopefully its all good for the weekend. Well see. Effort was high on the running A's and was out of breath by the end of the first one. ETT: 6.

Good elliptical workout today but my calf was pretty sore during the intervals. Felt pretty weak too. I was going on level 9 or 10 for all the repeats and around 290 watts if that means anything. Definitely pushing hard and my legs are feeling it now. I don't find my breathing gets crazy hard its more my legs tire out during these hard sessions. Did the bike for cool down since my feet were numb and hurting. ETT: 5.
