Jogging to the start of the maphike and then back from the finish with Kat. It's nice for both of us to have bikes here - now we can bike right to the woods and not have to run on pavement to get to the map.

Map-hiking with Kat. A nice exercise, teaching you to concentrate the whole time and try to read pretty much every feature you see on the map. On a fine fall day such as today, it's also really enjoyable. The woods are so pretty this time of year!

Running a few legs of the map hike hard, just to test out how the hurt foot feels in the woods. Didn't feel great, but still better than last week-end. Will hope for the best for the World Cups.
