Two intervals at "all-out" pace. Still not sure what the point of these was, but i suppose listening to the coach is part of being on a team... Felt pretty good though, especially on the uphills.

A bike ride on this beautiful day with Jesse, Misha, and Casey. Felt pretty confident biking except when having to go through narrow passages between parked (or moving) cars.... Still learning.

Score-O at MacFarlane Woods in OCIN land. Gorgeous day, nice woods. Felt sluggish early, but was feeling better and better as the race went on. No real competition there, so don't know if this was a good or bad time...(Got all the controls - 16 of them.)

Running to and from Fresh Pond with Misha and skiers. Feeling pretty crappy - too early in the morning for a hard workout.

Intervals at Fresh Pond. Feeling really, really crappy physically - tired and unmotivated. Will never do intervals at 7am again. Only managed 2 reps before quitting.

Weight circuit with ski team. My right knee is hurting when i put any pressure on it - i think it's still from the time i ran into a rock (repeatedly!) about a month ago. Will get it checked out soon.

Part of the Blue Hills Traverse: i had no focus the whole way, though was still somewhere around 3-5 place when i quit after the 7th control. Feeling good physically, but unable to concentrate on the race at all. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before, but i had pretty serious outside distractions to explain the lack of focus. I think i made mistakes on each of the first 7 controls, maybe with the exception of #4...

DVOA A-Meet Day 2. Nice, fast woods with lots of rock underfoot and areas of prickly bushes. A weaker race for me than Saturday, with several stupid mistakes. Still, good result - 6th on the day, 4th overall. A good conclusion to my fall A-Meet season.

DVOA A-Meet Day 1, at the Daniel Boone Homestead map. A very green area made the race into essentially a long trail run with painful breaks when you were forced to go into the woods. A good run for me nonetheless, 4th place, 3min back of 1st.
