Riding after school on a gorgeous day with Mike - up to GW bridge and back (20.6 miles). Hit a rollerblader and banged up my knee on the way. Oops. Nothing too serious, though.

A long day training at Holmdel in New Jersey with Alexei, Greg, Sergei. First, hanging controls (22:00), then running a training exercise (41:02), then a trail loop (34:00), then taking down controls.
This was followed by an attempt, eventually successful, to barbecue in the cold and windy park. Still a fun day!

Running with Greg in Forest Park: two loops (28:15, 25:55). Did not do strides because of a nagging groin injury from Thursday night.

4 on 4 soccer in Jersey City at night. A lot of fun, felt more confident than last week.

Running with Greg and Alexei for three loops on trails in Forest Park. Loop times were 27:30, 26:45, 25:53. FInal loop it was just me and Alexei and we picked up the pace - i was definitely feeling the speed towards the end.
