Sunday May 16

Orienteering 1:25:49 [4]8.7 km (9:52 / km) +300m 8:25 / km
Day 2 of the HVO A-Meet. Focused and intent on making up some ground. No major errors, but apparently i was moving slowly enough to get my butt kicked by John and WIll again....

Day2 - Blue - Splits

Saturday May 15

Orienteering 1:37:25 [4]8.8 km (11:04 / km) +380m 9:06 / km
Day 1 of HVO A-Meet at Sebago. Had trouble focusing and made big mistakes early and often. Very unhappy with my run, but it seems that a lot of others, except the amazing Will and John, had similar problems.

Day1 - Blue - Splits

Friday May 14

Football 1:00:00 [2]

Tuesday May 11

Running 44:26 [3]6.0 mi (7:24 / mi)
A run by Stuy in the heat and humidity. Felt tired and sluggish. Not used to the heat yet.

Sunday May 9

Running 1:04:35 [2]8.1 mi (7:57 / mi)
2 loops in Forest Park. First one with Amy, slow. Second one by myself, 26:01. Felt pretty good. Was offered pot by drug dealers in the woods halfway through. Refused.

Thursday May 6

Orienteering 1:23:35 [2]10 km (8:22 / km)
Training at Jackie Jones in Harriman with John F. A gorgeous day! I brought a bunch of streamers, so we each set a course, then each ran a course. Got stuck in the green a couple of times, otherwise lots of fun after three days off.

Sunday May 2

Orienteering 1:28:36 [4]7.8 km (11:22 / km) +315m 9:27 / km
Day 2 at West Point. Yuck. I was running well, rather clean in the fog, until control 6. I blew it. The worst single control of the year. Grrrr.
On the other hand, a fantastic run by John F.!!!! He kicked our butts very decisively.

Saturday May 1

Orienteering 1:48:03 [4]11.3 km (9:34 / km) +565m 7:39 / km
Thought the Billygoat was over? Huh!!! West Point Day 1 Blue Course was definitely more physically demanding....An ok race for me, all in all. Several minutes of mistakes, but nothing major.
