Skiing (Rollerskiing) 39:45 [3]
A double-pole-only workout in the rain, taking the uphills quite hard. Still very rusty, but my form is coming back, i think.
Running 30:00 [2]3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
Warm-up, cool-down, and some strides for the 5km test run.
Running 18:07 [5]5 km (3:37 / km)
5km test run on the track to see what kind of shape i'm in. Splits:
74 85 88 88 (5:36)
89 89 89 90 (5:57)
90 88 89 87 (5:55)
Besides taking the first lap way too fast, i was very happy with this time and felt ok the whole time.

5km - Splits

Orienteering 1:04:37 [3]6.37 km (10:09 / km)
Drew some circles on a map and ran to them. Good terrain on a map reachable by subwway. Was quite sloppy in a lot of places...

Sunday Jun 17

Orienteering 1:55:47 [3]13.6 km (8:31 / km)
Jukola - long night leg (#3) for team CSU. Didn't do too well, despite the relative lack of darkness - didn't use the headlamp at all. Made a big mistake early, losing about 7 minutes, but started running with a pack after that, paying close attention, and only losing 3 minutes the rest of the way.

Saturday Jun 16

Event: Jukola

Friday Jun 15

Rollerblading 1:03:00 [3]
Rollerblading with Kenny out to Lidingö - a day off from running before the Jukola.

Thursday Jun 14

Skiing (Rollerskiing) 55:00 [3]
First attempt at rollerskiing in Stockholm, with Carl Fey's poles and boots. It worked out quite fine, though i definitely lost some muscle as well as form since the end of winter...
Running 1:00:30 [3]8.07 mi (7:30 / mi)
Running around with Kenny - went to a trail race, volunteered a bit by standing and cheering, mostly. Then ran on the map some and back home through streets.
Orienteering 47:00 [2]2 km (23:30 / km)
Walking and some running in the dark on our local map, testing out head lamps for the Jukola. Discovering that night-O is really, reall hard. Have to make an escape down a huge cliff, over a fence, around barbed wire and across train tracks after getting lost on the way home.
Strength 15:00 [2]

Wednesday Jun 13

Running 35:00 [2]3.0 mi (11:40 / mi)
Warm-up and cool-down for Park race.
Orienteering 17:30 [5]2.85 km (6:08 / km)
Stockholm City Cup Race #5. It was lots of fun, but i made at least 2 minutes of mistakes and wound up with not such a great time...Winner ran 13:30, Kenny -15:40.
