Orienteering 3:00:00 [1]
shoes: VJ Supra Fall 2011

Streamering control locations at Lynn Woods. Giovanni made some updates to the map, and it way more readable now, making the orienteering much more enjoyable. I had no real problems with the control locations or the map, so things are looking good.

An awesome date planned for me by Kat in New York: first, surfing lessons at Far Rockaway, then a massage in Manhattan, where I got physically and verbally abused by a very powerful German woman ("These toes look ridiculous! You should really do something about this."). Finally, we took part in a murder mystery scavenger hunt at the Metropolitan Museum. Really fun, what a great day!

Running 42:12 [2] 7.67 km (5:30 / km)
shoes: Red Asics 2011

Running after dropping the car off at the mechanic's: the muffler fell off. Oops. My first run back in New Haven involved a stop to feed the DevilCats. They did not look appreciative.

Pre-running one of the H16 courses for this weekend's Linnéklassikern. Ran well and really enjoyed it. Had planned to run a second course, but had to book it back to work for a dinner with visiting collaborators.

Backbana after work with Sam and Ross. Was still full from lunch and felt unsure on the wet downhills. Ok otherwise.
